FAQs

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a formal suit or long dark dress instead. Generally, a black-tie-optional dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie. It's therefore courteous for guests to reflect this level of formality in their own attire. You can either go full-on glam in black-tie-worthy attire or opt for a slightly more relaxed but still formal ensemble.

  • Black-tie Optional (Dark Colors Encouraged)

Should we bring the kiddos?

Take the night off and leave the little ones at home! We love hanging with kiddos, but for this event we feel it’s most appropriate to ask that they don’t attend. We look forward to celebrating with all the youngsters another time.

  • Adults Only

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free options?

We will do our best to meet your dietary needs. Please let us know your preferences upon RSVP, so we can plan accordingly.

What shoes should I wear?

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on grass, so you may want to factor that into your stylistic decision making.

  • Outdoor Grass Venue

Can I bring a guest?

While we love the people that you love, we also ask that only those named on the invitation attend the wedding. The event will be relatively intimate with a modest guest count, so we ask that you refrain from bringing any persons not listed on your invitation.

  • Mystery Guests Not Included

Should I take photos?

We ask that you refrain from taking photos or having any devices out during the ceremony. The photo/video team will ensure the moment is captured for a lifetime, so we encourage all guests to keep their devices stowed and embrace the moment.

  • Unplugged Ceremony
